Never wash your Maltese if it has lots of matts, it will only make it worse. Get all the matts out and then wash him/her.If the matts are too hard to comb out then you may have to cut or clip them out. Be very careful not to cut your dog - you may need to have your Maltese clipped by a professional. If your Maltese gets a puppy cut by your groomer once every month or two you should not have matts to worry about. |
